The First Annual Moraga Jazz Festival took place on Sunday, August 7th, 2011 from 2-5pm at the beautiful New Rheem Theatre in Moraga, California.
The "Jazz for Joplin"(Tornado victims) Gala Benefit Concert will feature performances by:
Saxophonist George Brooks,
Multi-instrumentalists Roger Glenn, Barbara Higbie,
Guitarists Alex De Grassi, Steve Sage, Rafael Manriquez, and Jose Neto
Vocalists: Alvenson Moore, Carol Alban
Piano/Keys Frank Martin, Victoria Theodore, David Thomas Roberts,
Bassists Kai Eckhardt and Marc Levine,
Flutists Viviana Guzman and Carol Alban
Drummers Bob Scott. Paul Van Wageningen, Napoleon Revels-Bey, Aushim Chaudhiri (Tabla),
